Last Chances For Brush Drop Off | Environment

Indianola residents have a few more weekends to clean up their yards before the brush facility closes for the season.

Leaves, garden waste, and grass clippings will be accepted at the facility free of charge, until November 18.

City officials want to thank the community for being for supportive of the facility over the season.  They believe tons of waste was kept out of the South Central Landfill because of community cooperation.

The facility located at West Iowa and Kenwood Boulevard will re-open in April to collect e-cycling, brush, organic waste, and household hazardous waste. They also offer free mulch.
